Oxford Brookes is offering a fee-waiver scholarship to offer holders with significant experience working in primate habitat countries!
Past recipients of the award include Panut Hadisiswoyo, who founded the Orangutan Information Centre in 2001 to support the protection of Sumatra’s Leuser forests, its biodiversity and surrounding forest-dependent communities.
He has aided in the restoration of degraded areas and established action plans that support sustainable livelihoods as well as ecosystem protection. He was also shortlisted for a Forest Heroes Award in recognition of his tireless dedication to protecting Sumatran orangutans and their forests.
An annual MSc Primate Conservation Fee Waiver Scholarship is available to students with suitable academic credentials who have significant experience working with any aspect of primate conservation in a country where non-human primates are native.Click here for more information.
